Compassionate Sedation Dentistry for a Stress-Free Experience

If you feel nervous, fearful, or overwhelmed at the thought of going to the dentist, you're not alone.  Dental anxiety affects people of all ages—and it often leads to skipped appointments and worsening oral health. That’s why Le Dental Care proudly offers sedation dentistry as a solution for patients who need extra help feeling comfortable in the dental chair.

Our sedation options are ideal for:

  • Patients with dental anxiety or past traumatic experiences
  • Individuals with a sensitive gag reflex
  • Those undergoing longer or more complex procedures
  • Children or adults who struggle to sit still during treatment
  • Patients with special needs

People with a low tolerance for pain or dental instruments

Types of Sedation Available at Le Dental Care:

Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas): A mild sedative inhaled through a small nose mask. Helps you feel calm during treatment and wears off quickly so you can resume normal activities.

Oral Conscious Sedation: A prescribed pill taken before your appointment. You’ll remain awake but feel deeply relaxed and often won’t remember much of the procedure.

IV Sedation (available for qualified procedures or by referral): For patients needing deeper sedation while remaining conscious.

Your comfort and safety are our top priorities. We tailor your sedation experience based on your medical history, level of anxiety, and the complexity of your treatment. Throughout your visit, our experienced team will monitor you closely to ensure you stay safe, relaxed, and pain-free.

Frequently asked questions

  • What dental services do you offer at Le Dental Care?

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have their first orthodontic evaluation by age 7. However, orthodontic treatment is available for all ages, including teens and adults.

  • Do you see children and families at Le Dental Care?

Signs that you or your child may need braces include crowded or misaligned teeth, difficulty chewing, an overbite or underbite, thumb-sucking habits, or jaw pain. A consultation with an orthodontist can determine the best treatment option.

  • What makes Le Dental Care different from other dental offices?

We offer several orthodontic options, including traditional metal braces, clear ceramic braces, and Invisalign® clear aligners. Your orthodontist will recommend the best option based on your specific needs and lifestyle.

  • What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept most major PPO dental insurance plans. Our team will help verify your benefits and make the process smooth. We also offer 0% financing through CareCredit for qualified patients.

  • Do you offer emergency dental services?

Braces may cause mild discomfort, especially after adjustments, but this typically subsides within a few days. Over-the-counter pain relievers and orthodontic wax can help alleviate soreness.

  • Are Lumineers® better than traditional veneers?

You will need to avoid hard, sticky, and chewy foods that can damage your braces, such as popcorn, gum, and caramel. Soft foods like yogurt, pasta, and mashed potatoes are great options, especially after adjustments.

  • How do I know if I need a dental implant or bridge?

If you're missing one or more teeth, our team can help you decide whether a dental implant, bridge, or denture is best for your health, function, and budget. Implants are often preferred for their durability and natural feel.

  • What’s the difference between Invisalign® and Fastbraces®?

If a bracket or wire becomes loose or breaks, contact your orthodontist as soon as possible. In the meantime, orthodontic wax can help prevent irritation from a poking wire.

  • Do you offer sedation for nervous patients?

Yes! If you play contact sports, wearing a mouthguard is highly recommended to protect your braces and teeth. For musicians, there may be a short adjustment period, but you will still be able to play wind or brass instruments.

  • Where are you located and how do I book an appointment?

    We have two convenient locations:

📍 9575 Laguna Springs Dr, Elk Grove, CA

    📍 5405 N. Pershing Ave, Ste #20, Stockton, CA

Call us or book online to schedule your appointment at either location. We can’t wait to welcome you to Le Dental Care!
